Raiders Release DeAngelo Hall

Filed under: NFL — Bill @ 1:35 am

(At the time of this writing the report out of Oakland was that WR Jevon Walker was also going to be released, however as of today he is still with the team.)

Highly regarded but far less productve cornerback DeAngelo Hall was released late Tuseday night by the Raiders in what can only be considered a failed experiment.

The Raiders gave up a 2nd round pick as well as a 5th round pick to acquire the rights to Hall, a former All Pro defender from the Falcons.

Soon to be released is former Broncos & Packers WR Jevon Walker, who has done nothing for the Raiders. Since getting his ass kicked in Vegas he has threatened to retire, but was talked out of it. Perhaps he should have quit.

This organization has become the laughing stock of the league in recent weeks, or years since Jon Gruden left.

If rumors are confirmed and these two players are released it wil cost the Raiders severly on the salary cap, not that it matters.

.Just in case you forgot these two players were highly recommended by former coach Lane Kiffen.
