LeBron James Won’t Be The Next Chris Washburn

Filed under: Baseball, Baskettball, NFL — Bill @ 8:52 am

National sports media is all over LeBron James like a cheap suit for his “shrinkage” in the 4th quarter of last night’s NBA Finals game 4. While I will never claim to be a hoops expert I do have two observations:
– The entire Heat team scored only 14 points in that 4th quarter so LeBron wasn’t the only one in a Heat uniform to play poorly.
– Can we now end the ridiculous Jordan comparison? Why is it that sports fans & media feel the need to compare the latest “superstar” with the legends of the game? Doesn’t it cheapen the legends? There will only be one Michael Jordan & one Chris Washburn.

Quiz: What does the Oakland A’s & Happy Days character Richie Cunningham on a prom date have in common?

Answer: They can’t score.

Former Steelers & NY Giants wide receiver Plexico Burress was just released from prison this week. He went from lock-down to lockout.

  1. Heard a good line yesterday, “LeBron will be the next Jordan – when he played for the Wizards”
